Terms of Use

Last updated September 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of Iris (iriscan.app), its Explorer, its reports and its API, published by [Publisher name]. By creating an account or using Iris, you accept them. If you don't, don't use Iris.

1. What Iris is

Iris analyses public data from the Solana blockchain and public labels to describe wallets: who they may belong to, how they behave, and how money moves between them. Reports, labels, risk scores and traces are produced automatically.

2. What Iris is not

Iris's results are estimates, not facts. A label, a score or a “same owner?” link can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. They are not financial, investment, legal or compliance advice, and they don't prove who controls a wallet or that anyone did anything wrong.

Check important conclusions yourself before acting on them, and don't publish a result as an accusation against a person.

3. Your account

  • You sign up with an email and a password (confirmed by a link we send you), or with Google, Apple or a Solana wallet.
  • You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live.
  • You keep your password, wallet and API keys secret, and you're responsible for what is done with your account. Tell us at [contact email] if you think it was used without you.
  • One free trial per person: opening accounts to get more trials is not allowed.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Iris to:

  • break any law, including sanctions and anti-money-laundering rules;
  • harass, threaten, dox or stalk anyone, or to publish personal information about them;
  • defraud people or help anyone launder money or evade sanctions;
  • get around credits, rate limits or access controls, share an account, or resell access without our written agreement;
  • scrape the site, overload it, probe it for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other users.

We can suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without refund of the credits it used to do so.

5. Plans, credits and payments

  • Plans and credit packs are described on the pricing page. Each analysis or trace uses credits; the Explorer shows what's left.
  • Payments are made in USDC, USDT or SOL, to an address created for your checkout. A payment counts once it is final on the Solana blockchain. Blockchain transactions can't be reversed: check the address and the amount before sending.
  • A plan lasts for the period you paid for (a month or a year) and doesn't renew by itself. Unused monthly allowances don't carry over; pack credits don't expire while your account exists.
  • Credits are used as soon as a report or trace is produced. By starting to use them, you ask for the service to begin at once and accept that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal for the part you used. An analysis that fails is refunded automatically.
  • Prices can change; a change never affects a period you already paid for.

6. Projects and sharing

You can save a board as a project and share it by link. Anyone who has the link of a shared project can view it, and copy it into their own account; make it private again at any time. You're responsible for what you share: don't use a shared project to accuse, harass or expose a person.

7. The API

API keys are for your own programs. Requests made with a key use its account's credits exactly like the Explorer, and follow these terms. Revoke a key that leaks from your account settings.

8. Availability

We work to keep Iris running and accurate, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee that it is always available, error-free or complete. We may change, pause or stop features; before stopping Iris for good, we'll tell account holders in advance.

9. Intellectual property

Iris's software, design, brand and label database belong to their owners. You may use the reports you get for your own purposes, including quoting them with attribution to Iris, but not copy the service or its database in bulk.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses (lost profits, lost funds, decisions made on a report), and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, or your rights as a consumer.

11. Ending

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings. We can close an account that breaks these terms, after telling you why when we can.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top changes, and for significant changes we tell account holders by email or on the site before they apply.

13. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Write to us first at [contact email]: most problems are solved that way. If you are a consumer, you can also use a consumer mediator or the EU's online dispute platform, and you keep the protection of the law of the country you live in. Otherwise, the courts of the publisher's registered office have jurisdiction.
