Overview

What it is

The Explorer is a dark whiteboard where every wallet is a card and every transfer an arrow. Each card is already labeled: exchanges, mixers, bots and threats read at a glance, coloured by type. Open any card to go one hop further, and keep going until the trail ends somewhere that matters.

It is built for the work investigators do by hand in a spreadsheet and a block explorer: following stolen funds, mapping who is behind a fleet of wallets, finding the exchange deposit where money was cashed out.

Starting an investigation

Open the Explorer and paste an address under Start an investigation, then Map it. Or pick one of the samples: Sanctioned or MEV bot. From a report, the Explorer button opens the board on that wallet; the link /explorer?address={address} does the same.

The first wallet is analyzed right away and its biggest counterparties are laid out around it. Add more wallets at any time with the address field in the toolbar (/).

Toolbar

At the top: tools, undo and redo, the address field, the depth for new analyses, dust, zoom, fit, settings and clear.

Board

The cards and arrows. Scroll to pan, pinch to zoom, drag on empty space to select several.

Inspector

On the right when a card is selected: everything known about it and what to do next.

Flow panel

Opens when you click an arrow's amount: the transactions behind it.

Legend and minimap

Bottom left: what the colours and lines mean, and where you are on a large board.

Credits

Top left: your plan and the analyses and traces left. Updates after each one.

Saving and sharing

A new board lives in this browser: it keeps itself as you work, one per account, until you save it.

   Save it as a project

   Save project, top left, keeps the board on your account at its own link, /explorer/{id}. From then on it saves itself as you work: the bar shows Saved, Saving or Not saved.

   Share it, if you want

   Share sets who can open it: Only you (the default) or Anyone with the link. Shared projects are view only, open without an account, and stay out of search engines.

   Find it again

   Every project is listed in Account → Projects: open it, copy its link, share it or make it private, or delete it.

Viewing a shared project

Pan, zoom, select cards and open arrows and panels. Moving, analyzing, expanding and editing are the owner's. Signed in, Duplicate makes your own private copy to keep investigating.

Credits

Opening a project never re-runs its analyses: viewing costs nothing, for you or for anyone you share it with.

Limits

200 projects per account, and a board of up to 4 MB, far more than a large investigation needs.
